An energy healing exercise for your dog that you can do yourself

Today, I want to describe an exercise on how to do energy healing with your dog. If you're coming to my site for the first time, it's good to know that there this is the third in a series of three articles, so go back and read the other two, which end up priming you and getting you ready to practice energy healing on your dog. Work on the other exercises for about a week each before you go on to this exercise, it will just help you feel the energy better, and it will be more productive when you actually start working on your own dog.

Now this technique is very easy, you can do this anytime with your dog. This is a great technique for an introduction to energy healing, and it's also excellent as a full body energy balancing and clearing technique. If you have an upcoming change in your household, and you want to let your dog know and prepare them for the change or if you have a dog with a lot of scattered energy or really frantic, this exercise can help bring the energy back into the dog, in their body, and settle them. It's a really great technique to use for many purposes, and it's really simple to do and really simple to learn.

The steps of the energy healing session on your dog

Start by rubbing your hands together to get the chakras on your hands to open up and to activate your energy, and then make sure you can feel the energy between your hands. Once you've done that, you're going to put one hand on your dog's heart chakra, which is in the chest area between their front legs about where you would expect the heart to be. One hand will go there, and your other hand will go to the back of the throat chakra, which is at the base of the neck right above where you feel their shoulder blades come together. Once you've found those two spots, you put one hand on the heart chakra, one hand on the back of the throat chakra, and you hold. When I was first starting I found that it was easier to do with my eyes closed because I could concentrate on what I was doing, so try with your eyes closed, then try with your eyes open and see which one makes it easier for you to really feel the energy. You're just going to hold, and you're going to feel the energy flowing between your hands and at a certain point you're going to feel almost like a connection between your hands, like a bridge between the throat chakra and the heart chakra. You will feel this vibration getting stronger, it will feel like a pulsing or a temperature change. Just continue to hold and while you're holding this and your eyes are closed, and you're really focused you want to make sure that your intention is in the right place. Make sure that you're not thinking about something else, you're not doing your shopping lists, you're not trying to think about what you're going to do next, just focus your intention on what you want.

Ideally, what you want is for the energy to flow in the body where it needs to go, so don't project what you want to change in your dog, just have the intention that the energy will flow where it needs to go for complete balancing. Continue this for a while, you can do this for up to 20-30 minutes, but do it at least for five minutes and just keep holding. At a certain point you will feel the energy diminish, get softer, kind of go away, and then you know that the work is done and at that point you can then detach by opening your eyes again, saying your intention knowing that the energy will continue to flow where it needs to flow, and then you remove your hands.

What happens after is that you are helping to unblock the energy, and then it starts to flow in the body. Once it starts moving, our work is done, the energy continues to flow. You might see changes in your dog over the next 24 to 48 hours, it's not necessarily instant. The energy does continue to work, so this is not something you want to do daily because you want to let the energy continue to do its work after you're done. You can do this once or twice a week and then let the energy work how it's supposed to, let your dog heal himself. Remember that you're just facilitating the healing.

Go ahead and start practicing on your dog and start the healing journey, because it's a wonderful way to be connected with your dog.

Here are the other two exercises to do prior to this one, in order:
